General Questions
The Contact button at the top of the page takes you to our contact center. Here you’ll find our email address, hours of operation, and a webform where you can write us a message.
Our customer support hours, where you can call or chat live with someone from the team, are 9am – 5pm CT.
You may get a refund if you provide an official letter from your employer indicating that the course does not satisfy the requirements of your place of employment. Please see our Return Policy for more information.
You find an ‘Unsubscribe’ link in our email. Following that link will allow you to easily unsubscribe from our mailing list.
At present we only offer these courses in English. If you’d like to see other language offerings, please send us that feedback on our Contact page!

Yes, our medical certification courses are completed completely online with no in-class component required.
Account Information
On the login page, click on “Lost your password”, fill in your email address, and an email will be sent to you with reset instructions.

If you have attempted to retrieve your password but are still not successful, contact customer service using our Contact Page or the Chat box at the bottom right of the screen. We will reset it for you.
To change your name, address, title, etc, log in to your Account. You’ll find a list of items in your dashboard. Go to “Addresses” to change your address, or “Account Details” to change your personal information including your username and password.

Exam Questions
Once you have purchased the medical certification, you must complete the course and skills test or quiz before advancing to the final exam. The course is accessed through your member portal. The exam is completed 100% online and can be taken on your computer, phone or laptop by logging into the member portal through the Medical ProCerts website.

No. You can start, stop and continue your exam and complete it at your own convenience. Your exam will automatically remember where you left off and you can resume at any time.
No problem! You can take the exam as many times as you need until you get a minimum 80% passing grade.
Yes. Each course’s exam satisfies the requirements for certification and recertification. You will also have to complete a 20 question skills test before proceeding to the final exam–depending on whether you a certifying for the first time or re-certifying, these questions will vary.
Immediately upon completion of the exam, your exam will be automatically scored and your grade will appear on the screen.
Certification Questions
No. The AHA is not authorized to endorse other vendors. Just like Medical ProCerts, they are certification providers, not accrediting organizations.
Your certification is valid for 2 years. Before it expires you’ll receive an email reminder to re-certify, at which time we’ll offer you a special membership price for your recertification course.
Absolutely. Our courses satisfy all the certification requirements for BCLS/ACLS/PALS and CPR AED providers, and have been prepared and verified by registered and licensed medical professionals. The certifications are suitable for both initial and returning medical providers.
Any provider whose employer requires ACLS/BCLS/PALS or CPR/AED/First Aid certification, or those whose personal or professional activities would benefit from having these certifications, will need to be re-certified at least every 2 years to maintain their certification.
No, we do not require proof of prior certification before purchasing a recertification. If you are re-certifying with us for the first time, you will not need to supply your previously-obtained certification card in order to register. However, if you’ve previously certified or re-certified with us, your information is kept on file.
Yes. Our Certification Courses are designed to keep you updated on the latest medical research put out by the American Heart Association (AHA). You will find our Certification Courses are beneficial for every learner–including those recertifying.
Accreditation Questions
Yes. We are accredited by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine (PIM). See our Accreditation page for more details.
You will be able to apply for your CME credits directly through your learning platform upon passing your final exam. Medical ProCerts sends your credentials directly to PIM on your behalf.

Once you have applied for your CME credits, a certificate Download button will appear on the confirmation screen. You can print or save this certificate for your records. Your CME certificate will also be stored in your Account Management portal.

If you are a licensed and registered Physician, Physician’s Assistant, Nurse, Dental Professional, Dietician, Pharmacist or Pharmacist Technician, you will be able to apply for your CME credits through our online submission following your final exam.
